Prepare for District Leader Training — District Leader Training will be held in person at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, on August 18 and 19 for 2025–2026 District Directors, Program Quality Directors, and Club Growth Directors. District leaders will develop core leadership skills, share best practices, and network with others from around the globe. Registration for District Leader Training is required. Submit your District leader list as soon as possible after District elections to ensure registration, travel, and training details are sent to elected leaders in a timely manner.

Last-Minute Club Achievements? — Advise your clubs that all achievements (which include new or reinstated members, and award submissions) for the program year must be received no later than 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) -6 on June 30. Submissions received on or after July 1, 12 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) -6 will be applied to the 2025–2026 Program Year. Additional details, including how to submit documents to World Headquarters, are outlined in the Distinguished Club Program Manual.
New Clubs Deadline: June 30 — More clubs charter in June than at any other time. To avoid delays and ensure program year credit, submit your new club forms as early as possible this month, but no later than June 30. If you have questions about starting a club, view the How to Build a Toastmasters Club guide or Distinguished Area Program goals. You should visit your clubs four times during the program year to ensure officers and members are well supported and the future of clubs in your Area is secure. Please email any questions to districts@toastmasters.org.
Year-End Supply Order Planning — You have until June 13 at 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT)/Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) -6 to place supply orders or to access the District reserve account for the 2024–2025 program year! Your District accounts for 2025–2026 will be available beginning July 1.
Reporting Requirements Due July 15 — District Directors, please make sure that the Districts reporting requirements are met by July 15 to maintain access to the District reserve account and to gain access to District Central. Additional details will be provided in upcoming emails from the District Growth and Support and District Finance teams.

Quarterfinals Underway — The 2024–2025 International Speech Contest continues at the quarterfinal level. Judging is taking place this month once each District has submitted a video of their first-place winner. Results from each quarterfinal contest will be announced by early July. Check back here to see who will be competing in the International Speech Contest Semifinals and then register to see them compete in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Toastmasters 2025 International Convention.
2025 Accredited Speaker Program — The Accredited Speaker Program recognizes Toastmasters members who have reached professional-level status in their careers. In April, Level 1 applications and video presentations were reviewed by a panel of expert Accredited Speaker judges. We are excited to announce that two candidates will present at Level 2, taking place as part of the Toastmasters 2025 International Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 2025 Proposals — The Board of Directors is putting forth eight proposals this year for consideration by the voting membership at the 2025 Annual Business Meeting on August 22. Visit the 2025 Proposals page and read through the Frequently Asked Questions for more information on the proposed amendments to the Bylaws of Toastmasters International and the Club Constitution.

Assign Leaders for the 2025-2026 Program Year — District Directors may access the District Leader Assignments for the upcoming program year through District Central. There are no limits to the number of submissions, so please submit entries once they are known and assign leaders as soon as they are elected or appointed. The District Director-elect will have access to the District Leader Assignment tool beginning July 1 when their term begins. The tool will only be available through July 15.
Recognition Program Changes — In the upcoming 2025-2026 program year, some of the requirements and achievements for Distinguished Recognition will change. Some of the changes include club base requirements for Areas to become Distinguished and the addition of a Smedley Distinguished level for clubs. Please look at the District Recognition Program for the updated changes.
