How is the online edition different than the PDF?Back to Top
The two formats have different styles, but the same articles typically appear in both editions. The PDF edition is a traditional magazine that you can read cover to cover, with professionally designed articles and artwork. You can download it and read it on your laptop, mobile phone, or e-book device, or you can print it.
The online edition often includes links to other content, such as supplemental articles, relevant videos, complementary content from The Toastmasters Podcast, and additional photos. Online articles can be easily shared via email or social media. The magazine website also includes past articles you may have missed on timely topics, as well as helpful tips.
-
Can I share articles with other people or post them on our club website?Back to Top
Yes! We encourage you to share articles with fellow members, friends, family, and colleagues using the online article links or sending the full PDF issue. Every article has “Share this article” icons at the bottom, allowing you to email it or share it directly on social media.
Articles may be posted to your club or District website or in your newsletter, as long as you provide proper attribution to the Toastmaster, including the magazine’s name, and the month and year of the article you’re sharing. For questions about translating articles, please contact magazine@toastmasters.org.
-
Can I read the magazine in print?Back to Top
Prior to the COVID pandemic, a printed copy of the magazine was sent to members. In May 2020 the print edition was suspended for the foreseeable future. We still create a PDF edition in the same traditional format.
